According to the promise made in the West Bengal Assembly Election, within a month and a half of becoming the CM for the third time, Mamta Banerjee has started fulfilling her promise. In the meeting of the state cabinet on Thursday, the proposal to give students credit card to the students for studies was approved. The scheme for giving student credit cards will be launched from June 30.

Addressing reporters at the state secretariat Nabann, Mamata Banerjee said that with this card any student up to the age of 24 years can take a loan of up to Rs 10 lakh at minimum interest. These credit cards can be taken from class 10th onwards.

Now there is no need to sell the house to teach students – CM said

The Chief Minister said, “You do not need to sell your house for studies. If you want to take a loan up to Rs 10 lakh, then the West Bengal government will be the guarantor. Parents no longer need to worry about how their children will study now. The state government is with you.” Mamta Banerjee said that this decision was taken in the cabinet meeting on Thursday. This credit card can be taken for undergraduate, postgraduate, research purposes. The Chief Minister announced that all those who are living at least 10 in West Bengal will be able to study in any institution in the country or abroad with this money.

You will get 15 years to repay the loan

Mamta Banerjee said that after that if you get a job then you will get 15 years to repay this loan at low interest. It is very easy to obtain. This card can be taken online. How to apply and how to get this card will be announced after the start of the project on 30th June. Let us tell you that according to the promise made in the assembly elections earlier, Mamta Banerjee has approved the proposal of giving 10 thousand rupees to the farmers under the Krishak Bandhu scheme.
