COLOMBO: The Sri Lanka Cricket Board has retaliated against former Sri Lankan captain Ranatunga for his comments about the Indian team. The Indian ‘A’ team, led by Shikhar Dhawan, is touring Sri Lanka to play three T20s and three ODIs.
The BCCI has sent the Indian ‘A’ team to Sri Lanka as the main team led by Virat Kohli is touring England.
How many matches?
The series between India and Sri Lanka will be played in 3 ODIs and 3 T20s. The first ODI starts on July 13. The 2nd and 3rd ODIs will be played on July 16, 18. It has also been announced that the T20 matches will be played on July 21, 23 and 25. All these matches will be held at the Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

The Sri Lanka Cricket Board has responded to Ranatunga’s allegations in a statement. It said, “Out of the 20 Indian team that has come to Sri Lanka, 14 players are playing for the Indian team in all forms of cricket or some form of cricket. We would like to inform you that such an Indian team has come to Sri Lanka. Besides, the Indian team that has come to Sri Lanka is not a 2nd class Indian team.” .
Sri Lanka, who are currently touring the UK, lost the T20 series there. Similarly, it has now lost the one-day series. With this defeat, Sri Lanka created the worst record in ODIs. That means he has lost 428 matches in ODI cricket so far. Sri Lanka has the worst ODI team in the world.
