MUMBAI: On the completion of 25 years of the establishment of RJD, the party has organized a silver jubilee celebrations on Monday. RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, being unwell, will launch the program virtual from Delhi itself and will also address the party workers. Lalu Prasad Yadav, 73, who has been away from politics for a long time, said that a leader never retires. Apart from this, Lalu, in his familiar style, taunted the RSS saying that the half-pants people have the copyright on the guide board.

In an interview to Dainik Bhaskar, on the question of retirement from politics, Lalu Prasad Yadav said that a leader never retires. At the same time, he said that contesting and participating in elections is not just doing politics. His politics of social justice and upliftment of the underprivileged community continues even today. Apart from this, on the question of becoming the leader of the party, Lalu Yadav said that only the half-pants have the copyright on it. We will continue to fight for the rights of the downtrodden and the oppressed till the very last breath.

Apart from this, Lalu Prasad Yadav said about the option of Narendra Modi in the Lok Sabha elections to be held in the year 2024, that whatever the option is, it will not be dictatorial, arrogant and self-enchanted. At the same time, he said that Narendra Modi’s tenure for so many days has proved that individual based politics harms democracy. The alternative to Narendra Modi can only be a progressive agenda against his anti-people policy.

During the interview, Lalu Yadav dismissed the possibilities of alliance with Nitish Kumar in future. Lalu Yadav said that in the 2015 assembly elections, beyond all contradictions, we got the Grand Alliance to win and Nitish Kumar was made the CM despite RJD getting more seats. But Nitish insulted the mandate that the entire country saw before two years. Nitish Kumar has lost the backbone, principles and intentions which are very important in politics.

The foundation day program of RJD will begin on Monday. The program will first celebrate the birth anniversary of late LJP leader and former Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan. After this the main program will start. RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav will virtual launch this program from Delhi itself and will also address the party workers. Tejashwi Yadav will also address this program. Before the foundation day program, the streets of the capital Patna have been filled with posters of RJD.
