Only 10 per cent of the stadium capacity will be allowed to enter the dream final of the Copa Amrica tournament between Argentina and Brazil in Maracana. At the request of the tournament’s organizer, Conmebol, the local government allowed 10 percent of spectators to enter the historic competition. But only people living in Brazil are allowed to watch the match. The Rio de Janeiro mayor’s office said Friday that the stadium will allow 10 percent of the total capacity. The crown fight will take place on Sunday at 5.30am.

Instead of the ticketing system, the spectators will be admitted in the form of credentials. A total of 5500 credentials were allowed for the finals. This is stated in the statement of the mayor’s office. All such candidates must present a Covid Negative Certificate before entering the stadium. Conmebol has decided to give 2200 credentials to the Argentine and Brazilian teams participating in the final and the remaining 1100 credentials to the official guests. The Maracana Stadium can accommodate more than 78,000 spectators, but the approved capacity of the stadium is only 55,000. That’s why only 5,500 people get a chance to watch the Copa America final.

Meanwhile, football fans from Argentina are disappointed that only those living in Brazil will have access to the final. The football world has witnessed the resurgence of the Copa at the climax, though the excitement of the Copa has waned during the Euro Cup. The Copa del Rey is set to host the El Cl ക്ലാsico clash in world football.

The Copa del Rey is full of excitement as arch-rivals Argentina and Brazil are set to meet in the final. All the matches between the two teams were extremely hot and tense. Fans were also looking forward to tomorrow for the Brazil-Argentina final clash in a major tournament. Eventually more than a decade later their wish is going to be possible. The two are now set to face each other in another final after Brazil beat Argentina 3-0 in the 2007 Copa America final. The two had clashed in knockout matches and friendly matches but now the chance to meet in the final is ready. The last match between the two was the 2019 Copa semi-final.

The figures for the straight Copa finals are with Argentina. The two teams have met in ten finals, with Argentina winning all eight. Brazil have won only two finals since the 1990s.
