DELHI: The Center has released the Neat (UG) exam date which has been postponed due to Corona Second Wave. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has announced on Twitter that the NEET test will be conducted across the country on September 12 in accordance with corona regulations.
The NEET (UG) 2021 will be held on 12th September 2021 across the country following COVID-19 protocols. The application process will begin from 5 pm tomorrow through the NTA website(s).

He said the application process through the NTA websites will start from 5 pm tomorrow (July 13). Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that the number of cities conducting exams will be increased from 155 to 198 to cater to social distance.
In order to ensure social distancing norms, number of cities where examination will be conducted has been increased from 155 to 198. The number of examination centres will also be increased from the 3862 centres used in 2020.

He said masks would be made available to students at each center. Meanwhile, NEET examinations are conducted for admissions in medical colleges. Seats will be allotted to the candidates in the respective colleges based on the marks obtained in these examinations.
To ensure adherence to COVID-19 protocols, face mask will be provided to all candidates at the centre. Staggered time slots during entry and exit, contactless registration, proper sanitisation, seating with social distancing etc. will also be ensured.
