History of Sunday Ice Cream

On this day people go out of their homes and make various types of ice cream and Sunday ice cream with strawberry sauce, fresh strawberries and whipped cream. New York Ad Ithaca is the oldest known record of ice cream sundae, but its origin is still debated. In an advertisement published in the Ithaca Daily Journal on October 5, 1892, ice cream was written as Sunday instead of Sunday.

The origins of Sunday ice cream have also been disputed by Wisconsin, who claims that druggist Edward Berners served the first Sunday ice cream in 1881. It is said that a customer had ordered ice cream soda on Sunday, while the sale of ice cream soda was banned at that time due to ordinances. At which Berners served ice cream to the customer in a dish without soda, poured chocolate syrup over it and named it Sunday.

Sunday Ice Cream Recipe

To make Sunday ice cream, we need one and a half cup cashew nuts, 6 strawberries whose stems have been removed, 1/4 milk, 2 bananas, 5-6 dates, 2 tsp vanilla extract. To make this, first cut 4 strawberries finely. Then soak cashews in hot water for at least 1/2 hour.

After this drain the cashews and put them in a blender with milk, frozen bananas, dates, vanilla and strawberries and blend them. After which put it in a freezer and leave it for at least 2 hours or to thicken slightly. You can serve it cold.
