MUMBAI: Three-time record champions Spain and one-time champions Italy face each other in the semi-finals of the Euro Cup on Tuesday with both teams aiming for a ticket to the final after nine years. Both these teams reached the final in 2012 where Italy lost 0-4 to Spain.
Since then both teams have reached the last four of a major tournament for the first time. Italy would now like to equalize that defeat nine years ago. Both teams are unbeaten in the tournament so far. While Italy won all their matches, Spain won three out of five and drew two.

Italy’s team has not lost for three years: Italy’s team is invincible for the last 32 matches, which is a national record. During this he has won 28 and there have been 4 draws. Italy’s last defeat was 0-1 at the hands of Portugal in the Nations League in September 2018.
