SHIMLA: In the Himachal cabinet meeting today, some more concessions were given in the state. CM Jai Ram Thakur reviewed the situation of Corona in the state. The government has decided to start interstate bus service at 50 percent capacity from July 1. It will not be necessary to take e-pass for those coming to Himachal from outside states. The shops will open from 9 am to 8 pm. The restaurant will remain open till 10 pm. Apart from this, from July 1, work will be done in government offices with 50% capacity.
In the cabinet meeting, it was decided to run a campaign of corona vaccination in Lahaul-Spiti district from July 1 to July 31. The attendance of teachers will start from July 1. However, online classes will continue. The government has given permission to open a new division of Jal Shakti Department in Baddi. In the cabinet meeting, it has been decided to increase the stipend of Rs 5000 per month for the students of PG students (MD/MS and DNB), Junior Resident, Tutor Specialist.
The cabinet has decided to upgrade the middle schools of Mankot, Kutheer, Kega, Ghatta, Srog and convert them into high schools. In addition, it has been decided to upgrade the high schools of Banjawar, Singadhar and Dhadu to higher secondary schools.
