It has been reported that Air France, the national airline of France, will resume direct flights to Sri Lanka.

France is the fifth largest tourist source market in Sri Lanka. It is noteworthy that for the first time since 1980, its flights to Colombo have been suspended.

In this context, Air France has announced that it will expand its service to Katunayake Airport again after 35 years.

Air France has announced that the flight will start from November. These trips will be extended to Colombo three times a week.

While launching these airlines will welcome travel and tourists, Sri Lanka will also benefit immensely.
