MUZAFFARNAGAR: Dr. Veerpal Nirwal of BJP will sit on the chair of District Panchayat President or Satendra Balian of BKU will sit, this decision will be taken today. In this election, the reputation of Union Minister of State Dr. Sanjeev Balyan and BKU President Chaudhary Naresh Tikait is at stake.

The Zilla Panchayat members who reached unknown places have returned to the district. Leaders of both the parties are claiming victory.

The politics of District Panchayat has become a question of prestige of Union Minister of State Dr. Sanjeev Balyan and BKU President Chaudhary Naresh Tikait here. Dr. Sanjeev Balyan has united day and night for the victory of BJP candidate Dr. Veerpal Nirwal.

He has also associated this election with prestige, because the opposition has made his brother Satendra Baliyan as the candidate. The question of his credibility in the party has also arisen in front of Dr. Balian.

BKU chief Chaudhary Naresh Tikait had announced his name for the post of President by wearing the cap of BKU to Satendra Balyan. The opposition has given support to Satendra Balyan. RLD, SP, ASP, Congress are all standing in favor of Satendra. BJP leaders are claiming that they have 30 votes.

There are 43 voters in Zilla Panchayat, who will get 22 votes, he will win the election. Opposition leaders say that the BJP has gathered numbers, but some votes may cross voting in their favor. Win or defeat will be by one or two votes only. The claims will continue till the election results are out.

Muzaffarnagar. Additional District Magistrate Administration Amit Singh said that the election of the District Panchayat President will be held from 11 am to 3 pm today. After this, the counting of votes will start from 3 o’clock in the DM Court. In order to maintain law and order in the polling and counting work, a holiday has been declared on July 3 in the offices and courts located in the Collectorate.
