NEW DELHI: Director General of Indian Institute of Mass Communication Prof. Sanjay Dwivedi made a courtesy call on Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Assembly Speaker Hriday Narayan Dixit in Lucknow . During this, he informed the Chief Minister and the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly about the current educational activities and creative work of IIMC . Pro. Dwivedi also discussed with the Chief Minister about the future plans of the institute. On this occasion, Yogi Adityanath felicitated the Indian Institute of Mass Communication and Prof. Praised Dwivedi.
During this meeting, Speaker Dikshit said that Prof. Dwivedi is a successful journalist and writer, such intellectual warriors can certainly play their part in building a new generation. Dixit said that Prof. Dwivedi has a long experience of journalism. Whatever institution he stayed in, he has led him on the path of progress with his devotion and diligence.
Commendable step to name the library after Pt. Yugal Kishore Shukla
Dixit said that the Indian Institute of Mass Communication has set an example by naming its library after Pt. Yugal Kishore Shukla, who pioneered Hindi journalism in India. For this Prof. Sanjay Dwivedi deserves praise. This library of IIMC is the country’s first memorial in the name of Pt. Shukla, the promoter of Hindi journalism. It is worth mentioning that Hriday Narayan Dixit is the MLA from the same Unnao constituency, where Pt. Yugal Kishore Shukla was born.
