MUMBAI: Bollywood star Dia Mirza has shared the first picture of her baby. In addition, “her son Avyan Azad Reiki was born prematurely on May 14 and was under the loving care of doctors and nurses at the hospital.”
Dia had an emergency appendectomy and severe bacterial infection that could harm the baby, and after a C-section, the baby was placed in the ICU of the newborn.
Diya said the baby will soon be home to her parents, grandparents and sister, Samira.
Diya was last seen in Anubhav Sinha’s “Thappad”. The film, which was released last year, starring Taapsee Pannu, was critically acclaimed. Dia starred in the Telugu action drama “Wild Dog” starring Nagarjuna and Siamese Kher.
