NEW DELHI: Revised wages will come into effect from July 1 for millions of central government employees who are waiting for the increase in the Tutti Allowance (DA). The government has already stated in parliament that their discontinued Tuttle Allowance (DA) and Tutti Alarm (DR) will be resumed from 1 July 2021.

JCM, the Central Government Employees’ (CGS) Representative Organization, staff training department ( DOPT ) and finance ministry officials will hold a major meeting today. The meeting will discuss the pending benefits of TA and DA (DR).

Last year, due to Corona, the government banned Central Government Employees and Pensioners’ DA and Deduction (DR), which will be released this time. The decision to reinstate the DA from July 2021 will benefit nearly 50 lakh central government employees and more than 65 lakh pensioners.

Any increase in the DA ( DA, DR Hike ) from July 1 will only take effect from that day, meaning that employees will receive no dues for not revising the DA for the previous period. Therefore, the meeting between the two parties will be held on June 26 to determine the pending benefits of DA and DR under the recommendation of the 7th Pay Commission for Government Employees and Pensioners.
